1/2cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4cup powdered sugar
For the Filling:
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1cup semisweet chocolate chips
1cup chopped pecans
1/2cup caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Prepare the Crust: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix flour, powdered sugar, and softened butter in a bowl to form a crumbly dough. Press into a greased 9×9-inch baking pan and bake for 15 minutes.
Make the Filling: In a saucepan over low heat, melt sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and salt. Pour over the baked crust.
Complete the Bars: Sprinkle chopped pecans on top, drizzle with caramel sauce, and bake for 15–18 minutes. Cool, then slice into bars and drizzle with more caramel.
Notes
You can toast the pecans for enhanced flavor.
Consider using store-bought chocolate ganache as a quicker alternative to melting chocolate chips.
