1 box devil’s food cake mix
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
3 large eggs
1 tsp almond extract
1cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2cup heavy cream
1cup dark chocolate chips (for ganache)

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, cherry pie filling, eggs, and almond extract until well combined.
Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.
To make the ganache, heat heavy cream in a small saucepan until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and pour over dark chocolate chips in a bowl. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
