1cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4 to 6 lemons)
1cup granulated sugar
5cups cold water

1 lemon sliced

Instructions
Make Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water with the sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely to make a simple syrup.
Combine Ingredients: Remove from heat and let cool slightly. In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, the cooled simple syrup, and the remaining 4 cups of cold water. Stir well to combine.
