This Taco Ring is a fun and easy crescent roll recipe filled with seasoned ground beef, cheese, and classic taco toppings. It’s perfect for parties, game day, or a family-friendly dinner.
2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/2cup salsa or taco sauce (optional)
Shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced olives, sour cream, and sliced jalapeños for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
Add taco seasoning and water. Stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Arrange triangles in a circle on the baking sheet with wide ends overlapping in the center and points facing outward to form a sunburst pattern.
Spoon taco meat around the inner circle of dough. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Fold the pointed ends of dough over the filling and tuck underneath the center to form a ring.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with your favorite taco toppings and serve with salsa or sour cream.
Notes
Use ground turkey or plant-based crumbles for a lighter or vegetarian version.
Serve on a platter with toppings arranged in the center for easy dipping.
Great for potlucks and parties—can be served warm or at room temperature.
