- 2 tablespoons sriracha or other hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
- Reduce heat to medium and pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet.
- Cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken, about 4-5 minutes.
- Add red pepper flakes if desired, and stir to combine.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
