Wet Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3-4 medium)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (plus extra for topping, if desired)

  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: In a large bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar. Add eggs, Greek yogurt, bananas, and vanilla extract, and stir until smooth.
  4. Combine dry and wet: Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. Bake: Pour the batter into the pan, top with more chocolate chips if desired, and bake for 55–65 minutes.
