Ingredients

Rice Cereal Squares:

5 cups

White Chocolate Chips:

1 cup

Freeze-Dried Strawberries (ground into powder):

1/2 cup

Strawberry Cake Mix or Powdered Strawberry Drink Mix:

1/4 cup

Powdered Sugar:

1/2 cup

Butter:

1 tablespoon

Vanilla Extract:

1/4 teaspoon

Salt:

a pinch

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cereal: Place the rice cereal in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
  2. Melt the White Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and butter. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring each time, until melted and smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  3. Coat the Cereal: Pour the melted mixture over the cereal and gently toss to coat all pieces evenly.
  4. Prepare the Coating: In a large zip-top bag, combine the powdered sugar, ground freeze-dried strawberries, and strawberry cake mix. Add the coated cereal to the bag, seal it, and shake vigorously until all pieces are well coated.
  5. Cool and Serve: Spread the mixture out on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool and dry for about 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • You can substitute the strawberry cake mix with more powdered sugar or use a flavored drink mix for added strawberry flavor.
  • For a fun twist, add mini marshmallows or drizzle with more white chocolate.
