Fudge Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz) can strawberry frosting
- 1 (12 oz) bag white chocolate chips
- 2/3 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Prepare the pan: Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, allowing some overhang for easy removal of the fudge later.
- Melt the white chocolate chips: In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the white chocolate chips in 20-30 second intervals, stirring well between each interval until fully melted and smooth.
- Combine strawberry frosting and melted chocolate: Add the entire can of strawberry frosting to the melted white chocolate. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is uniform in color and consistency.
- Add the pecans: Fold in the chopped pecans evenly through the fudge mixture.
- Pour into the pan: Transfer the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
- Chill to set: Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, or until the fudge is firm and fully set.
- Cut and serve: Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment or foil edges and cut into 24 squares. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure to stir the white chocolate chips thoroughly between microwaving intervals to avoid burning.
- Use fresh pecans for the best flavor and crunch.
- This fudge can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- For a nut-free version, omit the pecans and substitute with an equal amount of dried fruit or seeds if desired.
