4 large eggs

2–3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Instructions
Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs: Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Alternate additions: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with buttermilk. Mix in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract.
