  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: Combine chicken pieces with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, black pepper, and cornstarch. Marinate for 15–30 minutes.
  2. Air Fryer Method: Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Cook chicken for 12–14 minutes, flipping halfway.
  3. Oven Method: Preheat to 425°F (220°C). Bake for 18–20 minutes, flipping once.
  4. Prepare the Sauce: Simmer gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and water for 3–5 minutes.
  5. Coat the Chicken: Toss cooked chicken in the sauce until evenly coated. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
