  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (for slurry)
  • sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Coat the Chicken: Toss the chicken pieces with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch until well coated.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet and cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same pan, cook garlic, then add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, red pepper flakes, and sesame oil. Simmer, then thicken with a cornstarch slurry.
