  • 2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Creamy Cajun Shrimp Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 8 oz large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (plus more for shrimp)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season and Sear the Steaks: Season the steaks with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Sear in a skillet over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes per side. Rest the steaks.
  2. Cook the Shrimp and Make the Sauce: Melt butter in the same skillet, add shrimp and Cajun seasoning, cook until pink. Add garlic, then pour in cream and stir in Parmesan. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  3. Finish and Serve: Return steaks to the skillet or plate, spoon the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce on top. Garnish with parsley and serve.
