Noodles:
8oz lo mein or spaghetti noodles
1 tablespoon sesame oil
Protein:
1/2pound flank steak, thinly sliced
1/2pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
Salt and pepper to taste
Vegetables:
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (divided)
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1cup broccoli florets
1/2cup shredded carrots
3 green onions, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
Sauce:
1/4cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
Cook the Noodles: Prepare noodles according to package instructions. Drain, rinse under cold water, and toss with sesame oil.
Prepare Protein: Season steak and shrimp with salt and pepper. Sear steak in 1 tablespoon of oil, then set aside. Cook shrimp until pink and opaque, then set aside.
Stir-Fry Vegetables: In the same pan, stir-fry bell pepper, broccoli, and carrots until tender. Add green onions, garlic, and ginger.
Combine Ingredients: Return steak and shrimp to the pan with cooked noodles. Add sauce mixture and toss everything together.
