For the Shrimp:
1 1/2pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/3cup grated Parmesan cheese
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
For the Lemon-Herb Aioli:
1/2cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Marinate the Shrimp: In a large bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Add shrimp and marinate for 15–20 minutes.
Prepare the Aioli: Whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper. Chill until serving.
Grill the Shrimp: Preheat grill. Skewer shrimp and grill 2–3 minutes per side. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese in the last minute. Garnish with parsley and serve with aioli.
Notes
Soak wooden skewers before grilling for added flavor.
