  • 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

For the Lemon-Herb Aioli:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Shrimp: In a large bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Add shrimp and marinate for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Aioli: Whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper. Chill until serving.
  3. Grill the Shrimp: Preheat grill. Skewer shrimp and grill 2–3 minutes per side. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese in the last minute. Garnish with parsley and serve with aioli.
