Rice:

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Saute the Aromatics: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until fragrant.

  5. Fluff and Serve: Remove from heat, let it sit for 5 minutes. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.
