  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Optional Topping:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat Olive Oil: Heat olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat.
  2. Brown Ground Beef: Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  3. Sauté Vegetables: Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper, and sauté until vegetables are softened.
  4. Add Remaining Ingredients: Stir in macaroni, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, Worcestershire sauce, seasonings, salt, and pepper.
  5. Simmer: Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 15–20 minutes until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
  6. Serve: Optionally, top with shredded cheddar cheese before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or sausage for the beef.
