  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Extra granulated sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, vanilla, and almond extract. Mix in the milk.
  4. Combine and Bake: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms. Roll tablespoon-sized balls of dough in granulated sugar and place on baking sheets. Flatten slightly and bake for 8-10 minutes.
