Ingredients
- 2 lbs frozen meatballs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 2 tablespoons water (if using cornstarch)
- Chopped green onions (for garnish, optional)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, ketchup, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes.
- Place the frozen meatballs into the slow cooker.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs and stir to coat evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours, until the meatballs are heated through.
- If a thicker sauce is desired, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl and stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving, if desired.
Notes
- You can use homemade meatballs instead of frozen ones—just pre-cook them before adding to the slow cooker.
- Adjust the garlic and red pepper flakes to taste depending on your spice preference.
- Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
