  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken thighs: Arrange the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  2. Prepare the sauce: In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, ketchup, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Pour over the chicken.
  3. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is tender.
  4. Shred the chicken: Remove chicken, shred with forks, then return to the slow cooker.
