Chicken and Sauce:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Stuffing and Garnish:

  • 1 (6 oz) box stuffing mix
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in the slow cooker: Arrange the chicken breasts in the bottom of a greased slow cooker.
  2. Prepare the sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Pour half of the mixture over the chicken.
  3. Add the stuffing: Sprinkle the stuffing mix evenly over the chicken. Pour the remaining soup mixture over the stuffing.
  4. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  5. Fluff and serve: Fluff the stuffing with a fork before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute cream of mushroom soup with a second can of cream of chicken if preferred.
  • For extra flavor, add shredded cheddar cheese during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
