Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Sauce:
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes (with juices)
1cup tomato sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2cup heavy cream
1/2cup grated Parmesan cheese
2cups fresh spinach (optional)
2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare Ingredients: Place chicken in slow cooker. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, garlic, onion powder, basil, salt, and pepper.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours until chicken is tender.
Finish: Stir in cream and Parmesan cheese 30 minutes before serving. Add spinach if desired and cook until heated through. Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes. Garnish with basil.
