Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Sauce:

  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 box (6 ounces) stuffing mix
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Spray the Slow Cooker: Spray the inside of the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper and place them in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Make the Sauce: In a medium bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth until smooth. Spread this mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Add Stuffing: Sprinkle the dry stuffing mix over the top of the chicken. Dot with butter pieces.
  5. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Serve: Fluff the stuffing with a fork before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • You can use cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup for variation.
  • Add frozen green beans or mixed vegetables beneath the chicken for a full one-pot meal.
