Pasta:

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or ziti)

Shrimp:

  • 1 pound large shrimp (peeled and deveined)

Sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Cheese Topping:

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Cook Pasta: Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare Sauce: In a skillet, melt butter with olive oil. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, then stir in wine (or broth), lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Add shrimp and cook until pink.
  4. Combine Ingredients: In a bowl, mix pasta, shrimp with sauce, Parmesan, and parsley. Transfer to baking dish and top with mozzarella.
  5. Bake: Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted. Garnish with parsley and serve.
