  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 small shallot (finely chopped)
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: In salted water, cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the seafood: In a skillet, cook shrimp until pink, then set aside. Sauté shallot and garlic, add cream, Parmesan, Cajun seasoning, paprika, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
