For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Pasta and Broccoli:

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • Salt for pasta water

Instructions

  1. Cook the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  2. Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter. Pour in heavy cream, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the Pasta and Broccoli: Cook fettuccine according to package instructions in a pot of salted boiling water. Add broccoli during the last few minutes of cooking. Drain pasta and broccoli.
  4. Combine Everything: Toss cooked pasta and broccoli in the Alfredo sauce. Gently fold in the cooked shrimp. Serve hot and enjoy!
