  • 1 (14.75 oz) can salmon (drained, bones removed)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a medium bowl, mix the salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, mayonnaise, mustard, onion, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, pepper, and parsley.
  2. Form Patties: Shape the mixture into 6 patties, pressing firmly together.
  3. Cook Patties: Fry patties in olive oil for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Serve: Drain on paper towels and serve warm with tartar sauce, lemon wedges, or on a salad.

Notes

  • You can use fresh cooked salmon instead of canned.
  • For a gluten-free option, substitute almond flour or gluten-free breadcrumbs.
  • Patties can be frozen and reheated in the oven or air fryer.
