For the steaks:
1pound ground beef
1/3cup breadcrumbs
1/4cup finely chopped onion
1 egg
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the gravy:
2 tablespoons butter
1cup sliced mushrooms
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 1/2cups beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Prepare the steaks: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Shape into 4 oval patties.
