Pizza Dough:
1 ball pizza dough (about 12–14 oz)
Roasted Garlic:
1 whole head garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
Toppings:
1cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
3/4cup ricotta cheese
1cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or basil (optional)
cornmeal or flour for dusting
Instructions
Roast the Garlic: Preheat the oven to 400°F. Slice the top off the garlic head, drizzle with 1 tablespoon olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 35–40 minutes. Mash into a paste.
Prepare the Pizza: Increase the oven to 475°F. Roll out the dough, spread roasted garlic over it, add ricotta, chicken, cheeses, herbs, salt, and pepper.
Bake: Transfer the pizza to a preheated stone or baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Serve: Top with fresh herbs, slice, and enjoy hot.
Notes
For a shortcut, use store-bought roasted garlic or roasted garlic paste.
