Filling:

  • 1 cup ground pork or chicken
  • 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
  • 2 green onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Additional:

  • 12 rice paper wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying or steaming

Instructions

  1. Mix Filling: In a bowl, combine ground meat, shredded cabbage, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  2. Prepare Wrappers: Dip one rice paper wrapper in warm water for about 5 seconds to soften. Lay flat.
  3. Fill & Fold: Place filling in the center, fold sides over, then roll tightly from the bottom.
  4. Cook: Pan-fry dumplings in oil until golden and crisp or steam for 8–10 minutes.
  5. Serve: Enjoy hot with soy sauce or dipping sauce.
