- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole milk

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt or loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the batter into three bowls. Leave one plain (white), color one with red food coloring, and the other with blue food coloring.
- Spoon dollops of each color batter randomly into the prepared pan. Swirl gently with a knife to create a marble effect.

- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on a wire rack.
Notes
- Use gel food coloring for more vibrant colors.
- Do not overmix the batter after adding colors to maintain a clean marbled look.
- This cake can be topped with a simple glaze or powdered sugar.
