Texas Toast:
4 slices thick-cut Texas toast
Garlic Butter Mixture:
2 tablespoons salted butter (softened)
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix together softened butter, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
Butter and Toast: Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each Texas toast slice. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the bread slices buttered-side down. Toast for 2–3 minutes until golden. Serve warm.
Notes
