Marinated Beef:

  • 1 lb flank steak (thinly sliced against the grain)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Stir-Fry:

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (minced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup snap peas
  • 2 green onions (sliced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef: Combine sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Stir-Fry: Heat oil in a skillet, sear beef, remove and set aside. Add garlic and ginger, then cook vegetables. Return beef to the pan, add green onions and black pepper. Stir-fry until heated through.
  3. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
