Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add the chicken broth to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  6. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
