  • 2 tbsp chili oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
  • Chili flakes for extra heat (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Udon noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine chili oil, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, minced garlic, and rice vinegar. Mix well.
  3. In a pan, heat the chili oil mixture over low heat for 1-2 minutes, allowing the garlic to infuse the oil.
  4. Toss the cooked Udon noodles in the chili oil mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the noodles to a serving bowl and top with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and chili flakes if desired.
