1 package thawed

Cream Cheese Filling:

8 ounces softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Egg Wash:

1 egg, beaten

Topping:

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Cream Cheese Filling: In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Prepare Pastry: Cut puff pastry sheets into squares. Place cream cheese mixture in the center, fold, and seal edges.
  4. Egg Wash and Sugar Topping: Brush pastries with beaten egg, sprinkle with sugar.
  5. Bake: Arrange quesitos on baking sheet, bake for 18–22 minutes until golden.
