  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, and water.
  2. Add sesame oil and sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Mix in minced garlic and grated ginger.
  4. Stir in red pepper flakes and green onion if using.
  5. Let the sauce sit for 10-15 minutes to allow flavors to meld before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness or saltiness to your taste by altering sugar or soy sauce levels.
  • Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
