Ingredients

Units Scale

For the dough:

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg

For the filling:

  • 1 1/2 cups peeled and finely diced fresh or canned peaches (drained)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

For the glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough: In a large bowl or stand mixer, combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until combined, then gradually add remaining flour until a soft dough forms. Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  2. Fill and shape the rolls: In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a 16×12-inch rectangle. Spread with softened butter, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture and evenly distribute the diced peaches. Roll up the dough tightly from the long side and slice into 12 even rolls.
  3. Rise and bake: Place rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 30–40 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Make the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

  • For a shortcut, use store-bought crescent roll dough.
  • Frozen peaches work well—just thaw and pat dry before using.
  • Add a pinch of nutmeg for extra warmth.
