Ingredients

  • 1 lb Angus steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup white mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sweet onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup asparagus, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, cornstarch, and water. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced Angus steak and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and asparagus. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the steak to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture.
  6. Stir well to combine everything and cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Season with ground black pepper to taste and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the steak in soy sauce and cornstarch for 15 minutes before cooking.
  • You can substitute Angus steak with sirloin or flank steak.
  • Adjust vegetables to your preference, such as adding snow peas or baby corn.
