  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil: In a large pot or deep skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the ground beef: Until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5–6 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add onion and garlic: Cook until softened, then add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  4. Incorporate tomatoes and seasonings: Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  5. Add macaroni: Reduce heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for 10–12 minutes until pasta is tender.
  6. Optional: Stir in cheddar cheese until melted. Garnish with parsley before serving.
