A quick and flavorful One Pot Chicken Piccata made in just 30 minutes. Tender chicken breasts are cooked in a zesty lemon-butter sauce with capers, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic to the skillet; sauté for 1 minute.
Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring to deglaze the pan and scrape up any brown bits.
Add capers and return chicken to the skillet. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until sauce slightly thickens and chicken is heated through.
Garnish with parsley and lemon slices if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra richness, add a splash of heavy cream to the sauce.
Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
