Salmon Patties:
1 (14.75-ounce) can pink salmon, drained and flaked (bones and skin removed if desired)
1 large egg
1/3cup finely diced onion
1/4cup finely diced green bell pepper (optional)
1/2cup breadcrumbs or crushed saltine crackers
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
Mix Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the salmon, egg, onion, bell pepper, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Shape Patties: Shape the mixture into 6 equal-sized patties.
Fry Patties: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties for 3–4 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.
Drain and Serve: Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Serve warm with lemon wedges, tartar sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a dash of hot sauce or a pinch of Old Bay seasoning to the mixture.
