  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix-ins:

  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
  6. Add oats and raisins: Stir in the oats and raisins.
  7. Bake: Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden.
