1cup unsalted butter (softened)
1cup brown sugar (packed)
1/2cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1cup raisins
Instructions
Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
Add oats and raisins: Stir in the oats and raisins.
Bake: Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden.
Cool: Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For chewier cookies, soak the raisins in warm water for 10 minutes before adding to the dough.
