Shortbread Crust:
2cups shortbread cookies, crushed
1/2cup unsalted butter, melted
Fudge Layer:
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
3cups white chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
Topping:
1/2cup chopped shortbread cookies for topping (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Crust: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Mix crushed shortbread cookies with melted butter, press into the bottom of the dish.
Make the Fudge: In a saucepan, melt sweetened condensed milk and white chocolate chips. Stir in vanilla extract and salt. Pour over the crust.
Add Toppings: Sprinkle chopped shortbread cookies on top, if desired.
Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, then slice into squares.
