1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 oz)
1cup sour cream
3 large eggs
1/3cup vegetable oil
1/4cup water
Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture:
1/2cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Glaze:
1/2cup powdered sugar
1–2 tbsp milk
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Prepare Batter: In a large bowl, mix cake mix, sour cream, eggs, oil, and water. Beat until smooth.
Make Cinnamon-Sugar Mix: Combine sugar, cinnamon, and nuts if using in a small bowl.
Layer Batter: Pour half of the batter into the pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mix, then add the remaining batter and sprinkle the rest of the mix.
Bake: Bake for 35–40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan.
Prepare Glaze: Whisk powdered sugar and milk, drizzle over the cake.
