Ingredients

Frozen Cheese Ravioli:

1 (25 oz) bag

Ground Beef or Italian Sausage:

1 lb

Marinara Sauce:

1 (24 oz) jar

Cream Cheese (softened):

1 (8 oz) package

Ricotta Cheese:

1 cup

Sour Cream:

1 cup

Garlic Powder:

1/2 teaspoon

Shredded Mozzarella Cheese:

2 cups

Grated Parmesan Cheese:

1/4 cup

Fresh Parsley (optional):

1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat and stir in the marinara sauce.
  3. Prepare the cheese mixture: In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese, ricotta, sour cream, and garlic powder until smooth.
  4. Assemble the casserole: Spread half of the meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Add half of the frozen ravioli in an even layer. Spread the cheese mixture over the ravioli. Top with the remaining ravioli, the rest of the meat sauce, and sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan over the top.
  5. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Serve: Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute cottage cheese for ricotta or use spinach ravioli for a twist.
  • This casserole freezes well—just thaw and bake as directed.
