For the Chicken Patties:

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • juice of 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, red onion, feta, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Mix gently until just combined—do not overmix.
  2. Form Patties: Form the mixture into 4 even patties.
  3. Cook the Patties: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Rest and Serve: Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Serve these patties with tzatziki sauce, in pita bread, or over a Greek salad.
