Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are fully blended and the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf before baking.
  4. Bake the meatloaf according to your recipe’s instructions, typically adding the glaze during the last 20-30 minutes of baking.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness or tanginess by varying the amount of brown sugar or vinegar.
  • For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce or cayenne pepper.
  • This glaze works well for both beef and turkey meatloaf.
