  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 3 cups mashed potatoes (prepared ahead or store-bought)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the meatloaf: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and press into a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.
  3. Bake: Bake the meatloaf for 25–30 minutes until cooked through. Drain excess fat if needed.
  4. Add potatoes and cheese: Spread mashed potatoes over the meatloaf, then sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Final bake: Return to the oven for 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
