Description

Marry Me Chicken is a creamy, flavorful chicken dish made with sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and Parmesan cheese in a rich cream sauce. It’s perfect for romantic dinners or impressing guests.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Add chicken broth, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan.
  6. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  8. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve.

Notes

  • Serve with pasta, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
  • You can substitute chicken thighs for a juicier result.
  • Adjust spice level by increasing or omitting red pepper flakes.
