4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and black pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, maple syrup, olive oil, lemon juice, and minced garlic until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
Spoon the maple mustard mixture evenly over each fillet, spreading it to coat the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
Use fresh wild-caught salmon for the best flavor and nutrition.
You can substitute honey for maple syrup if desired.
Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
